On Sunday, March 15, 2026, Al Hanan Association for the Care of Orphans hosted a special solidarity day benefiting 27 orphaned children. The event was organized by the CIEL Club of Ibn Zohr University students, as part of its social and humanitarian initiatives aimed at promoting values of solidarity and mutual support.
The activity sought to bring joy to the children while also strengthening their religious and moral values, in an atmosphere marked by warmth and positive interaction.
The day’s program began at 11:00 a.m. with a friendly introduction session that brought together club members, association staff, and the children, helping to break the ice and build meaningful connections.
The opening also included a spiritual segment, featuring the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by a club member, followed by a heartfelt recitation by one of the children, creating a serene and reflective atmosphere.
Educational workshops on the stories of the prophets were organized, where the children were divided into four groups. Each group worked on a specific prophet’s story to identify key moral values and virtues, then shared their findings with the others in an interactive and educational setting.
On the cultural side, a religious quiz was held, which saw enthusiastic participation from the children, who demonstrated remarkable understanding and intelligence.
From a recreational and aesthetic perspective, the children enjoyed grooming activities, including haircuts for the boys and henna application for the girls, bringing smiles to their faces.
The day also featured artistic moments, including a group choir where children and students performed educational songs together, followed by joyful dances that added a lively spirit to the event.
The event concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children, aiming to reinforce their sense of care and appreciation. In a gesture of gratitude, Al Hanan Association awarded a certificate of appreciation to the CIEL Club, recognizing the students’ efforts and the value of their noble initiative.
