In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2026, and during a day filled with joy, generosity, and a spirit of solidarity, Al Hanan Association for the Care of Orphans, in fruitful collaboration with ALC COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB, organized a remarkable humanitarian and social activity aimed at supporting widows and bringing joy to orphaned children.
The first part of the event focused on an intensive training session for widows, attended by 34 widows. The session addressed several key themes aimed at empowering women and strengthening their abilities, including:
🔹 Psychological Support: mechanisms for overcoming the trauma of loss and moving toward positive thinking.
🔹 Self-Empowerment: workshops on discovering personal abilities and building self-confidence to face life’s challenges.
🔹 Practical Guidance: introducing ways to engage in income-generating activities in order to achieve financial independence and improve quality of life.
Alongside the training session, 64 orphaned children benefited from a comprehensive program combining learning and entertainment in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The program included:
✨ Educational workshops, including an English Quiz activity to help develop their language skills.
🎨 Fun and creative activities, such as competitions and drawing sessions designed to bring happiness and smiles to the children on this special day.
The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to ALC COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB by Al Hanan Association for the Care of Orphans, in recognition of their valuable contribution and active role in the success of this humanitarian initiative.
On this occasion, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to organizing and supporting this noble activity, including trainers, volunteers, partners, and supporters.
